Being organically grown and going through an aggressive expansion and relocation phase, this company are at the forefront of the Renewable Energy installation revolution in the South West. They really are a pleasure to work for and I'm not just saying that because my wife works there!
To become part of this revolution as an Solar Engineer, you will ideally be experienced in both electrical and plumbing installs as well as having renewable engineering specific qualifications (Part L and Part P). That said, if any of those skills are lacking, the company will support you with training in over half a dozen disciplines. Experience planning, installing and commissioning all forms of renewable energy systems such as solar thermal, solar PV as ground & air source heat pumps will certainly be an advantage, but again, an astute plumber, gas and electrical engineer will soon become efficient in all these.
