Job Title: General Labourer
Pay rate: £9.50 p/h
Location: Woolsery
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Acorn is currently looking to recruit a hardworking, reliable and independent working individual to carry out various tasks for the upkeep of holiday cottages and surrounding area in Woolsery, Devon.
Responsibilities Include:
* Dealing with farm animals - a small number of cows, sheep and pigs
* General yard tasks
* General gardening tasks - grass cutting, maintenance of flower beds and vegetable patches, weeding and landscaping
* Painting - general outside house (railings etc.)
* General property / land maintenance including guttering, gates, window cleaning etc.
* Cleaning of various vehicles
* General cleaning of Holiday Cottages ready for change over - including hoovering, mopping, cleaning surfaces, changing bed sheets, hot tub etc.
* Moving, handling and storing of resources
* Assisting in ad-hoc specific tasks as requested
Requirements:
* Driving Licence and own means of transport to travel to work
* Health and Safety Awareness
* Good organisational skills
* Pride of work area (including maintenance of tools and equipment)
* Trustworthy
* Initiative
* To deliver high standards across all work activities
Benefits:
