A permanent opportunity has arisen for an individual with experience within financial services and preferably with a CF1 and CF6 qualification within mortgages.

The role will include the following:

* Check the quality of documentation uploaded onto the Horizon system by the Adviser against the standards set

* Ensure that the checks are undertaken and feedback documentation is produced and issued in association with the Training and Competence Scheme requirements.

* Communicate and deal with queries raised in relation to client file requirements by the Regional Compliance Managers and., Area Compliance Managers and Training & Development Manager

* Follow up the quality check to ensure that any development areas highlighted via the feedback have been dealt with by the Area Compliance Managers and we hold evidence to show the case as closed.

* Maintain files / statistics required by the team including those held on the Integrated Compliance Environment system.

* Deal with queries from advisers in relation to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly, the sales process, Horizon and general compliance enquiries.

* Understand and promote the principles of Treating Customers Fairly in the checks undertaken.

* Actively participate in the development of the team by making suggestions, highlighting improvements to process and assisting with peer training.


Technical Skills / Competencies

* Intermediate IT skills - Microsoft office suite, Outlook.
* Knowledge and Expertise (relating to specialist knowledge and expertise required to undertake the role).

Qualifications - must have at least CF1 and CF6.
Competence / skills - must have undertaken a similar role.
Knowledge - must have a good understanding of MCOB and ICOB. Should have a knowledge of the mortgage market.


Experience, qualifications and other requirements specific to the role:

Essential

*GCSE Maths/English (grade C or above)
*Good written and oral communication
*Ability to take ownership for workload and work to set quality and timeframe standards
*Ability to work well within a team environment
