We are looking for talented, motivated people who want to join a friendly, safety conscious business that is continuing to grow. These are permanent positions.
Working very much on your own, but as part of a much larger team, your job is to support the production team. This means loading aluminium logs ready for the press - ensuring empty skips are available for the production line, removing scrap, loading the aging ovens and making sure the material is aged to the correct specification. You will be using overhead cranes so previous experience is required, and there may be times when you will need to use a FLT or Combi Lift, though training in use of these will be given.
You will need to be organised as you will be supporting several production areas, so being able to prioritise is key.
Safety is paramount so you will be expected to not only operate safely, but also identify opportunities to reduce risk.
Working on a rotating shift pattern - typically you will have 2 days off one week and 5 days off the next.
Conveniently located with access to J20 on the M5 only 10 minutes away, it is also served by train (10 minute walk) and bus (5 minute walk).
