This individual is required to provide an accurate payroll service to employees and adhere to payroll legislation whilst also assisting with financial duties.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain payroll information by collating and calculating data and entering onto SAGE payroll
  • Up to date knowledge of Payroll and Pension legislation
  • Updating payroll records for departments, pensions, rates of pay
  • Liaising with managers and reporting on sickness issues / holiday allowances
  • Preparing and reconciling payroll reports (deductions, pensions, NI & Tax etc)
  • Making timely and accurate payments to external agencies (Pension, HMRC)
  • Swiftly resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Issuing P45's and other Tax Forms
  • Calculating and preparing annual P11D return
  • Providing payroll information to management and responding to staff queries
