Payroll Officer (Permanent)

This individual is required to provide an accurate payroll service to employees and adhere to payroll legislation whilst also assisting with financial duties.

Responsibilities
- Maintain payroll information by collating and calculating data and entering onto SAGE payroll
- Up to date knowledge of Payroll and Pension legislation
- Updating payroll records for departments, pensions, rates of pay
- Liaising with managers and reporting on sickness issues / holiday allowances
- Preparing and reconciling payroll reports (deductions, pensions, NI & Tax etc)
- Making timely and accurate payments to external agencies (Pension, HMRC)
- Swiftly resolving payroll discrepancies
- Issuing P45's and other Tax Forms
- Calculating and preparing annual P11D return
- Providing payroll information to management and responding to staff queries
