Telesales Advisor (Permanent)
Do you love talking to people and helping them with their needs? Are you interested in the education sector? Are you looking for a fast paced and exciting new role?
We are currently recruiting for someone to join the sales team at a leading distance learning institute. You will be working in a medium sized team making outbound calls to people who have registered their interest in the product. There is no cold calling in this role at all - but we are looking for someone with confidence to be able to push the close at the end of the call to make the sale!
Due to the location and the shifts, you will need to be able to drive.
The shifts are
Monday-Friday 9-5.30pm AND 11.30am -8pm (12.30-9pm January and September)
The shift pattern runs Wednesday to Wednesday
One Saturday a month 12-6pm
Your responsibilities
- Making calls to prospective customers
- Advising customers on the best option for them
- Listening to customers needs and assisting them using sales techniques to support their dream career and gain the enrolment
- To reach daily, weekly and monthly targets
- Follow-up as arranged
- Updating leads accordingly on an in-house CRM
- Ensuring potential customers are given the correct advice
- Take part in in-house training sessions held by our Training Officer
- Ensure that you keep up to date with new products in order to provide the best customer service
Your Skills/ Experience
- A minimum of 6 months telephone sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- A natural passion for sales and a competitive streak
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- A flexible team player who can demonstrate a can-do attitude and the ability to use initiative
