Travel Sales Consultant (Permanent)

Search Consultancy are currently recruiting for Travel Consultants to join their growing team based within their contact centre in Glasgow City Centre.

This a full time permanent position where candidates will benefit from a competitive salary and excellent working hours of Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm and a Saturdays between 9am - 5pm.

The role will involve:

• Responding to inbound calls and emails from external Travel Agents and also internal departments in a timely and professional manner
• Creating bookings and amending existing bookings as required
• Complete quality checking procedures for all new bookings prior to ticketing
• Sell and promote additional products and services
• Provide timely answers or further information to queries raised by all agents
• Providing the highest level of service at all times

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience within a sales or customer service environment
• Previous experience within the travel industry is beneficial but not essential
• Have a passion or knowledge about travel
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Be a strong team player
• Be highly organised with a great attention to detail
