Organic Analyst

I am currently recruiting for an Organic Analyst to join a leading contract testing company in the Organic Chemistry department based in the Midlands. It is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Analyst looking to develop and progress in their career as they offer a great training programme and progression opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Digesting and analysing specialist chemistry samples
- Using predominantly GC-MS but also GC and HPLC
- Interpret results and write up/check technical reports
- Assist in development of instrumentation
- Maintenance of UKAS requirements

Requirements:

- BSc or equivalent in Chemistry or any other related field
- Experience of running GC, GC-MS, GC-FID or HPLC
- Method development and validation experience would be beneficial
- Worked to UKAS or ISO17025 standards
- Be able to work in a high throughput environment
