Production Operative (Temporary)

Acorn is looking for Production Operatives for our manufacturing client based in Haydock.
This is working direct for a company that manufactures food packaging products
Candidates will support the overall operation of our clients production facility and help provide exceptional service to all their customers.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working within an industrial environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Machine Operation
- Line Feeding
- Labelling
- Keep work area clean and tidy.
- Quality control.
- Meet and exceed production targets.
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate by your Supervisor.
Principal accountabilities:
- Health and safety.
- Customer focused.
- Team work.
- Manual Handling
The hours of work are either:
- 6am - 2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm - 6am.
- Monday - Friday on a rotating basis
- 4 on 4 off 12 hour days and nights shift pattern.
- You MUST be able to commit to all hours on your allocated pattern
Full training will be given and the company offers excellent prospects for progression
The rate of pay starts at £8.91 per hour and increases upon successful completion of a training period
There is an immediate start for the successful candidates.
