Warehouse Operative (Temporary)
Warehouse work available in Ellesmere Port
Acorn is looking for Warehouse Operatives for our logistics client based in Pioneer Business Park in Ellesmere Port.
The roles may involve order picking using a headset system, general warehouse tasks including labelling and palletising and other manual tasks.
Experience of using MHE is essential.
There may also be some PC work involved updating stock via a computer system.
The shifts available currently are:
- 6am to 2pm, 8am to 4pm and 2pm to 10pm, Monday - Friday.
Experience (advantageous):
- Order picking - including voice picking.
- Other associated Warehouse duties within a busy warehouse environment.
- Experience of manual handling.
- IT skills.
The rate of pay for the first twelve weeks meets National Minimum or National Living Wage requirements and rises after 12 weeks service dependent upon the job role to between £9.12 and £10.35 per hour.
The work is located in a brand new facility with excellent working conditions.
The company operate an excellent training programme and there are plenty of opportunities for career progression within the business.
All candidates need to be drug tested before they can start on site.
