The Team Manager role will be for its new Child Exploitation Service. This is a brand new service developed following a successful trial and is in fact the first of its kind outside the United States!

The team includes embedded specialist roles, such as gang workers, to focus on where the need is known to be highest risk.

This highly successful service prevents children from becoming looked after unnecessarily and protects children from some of the highest risks. It offers a proactive and empowering model for families, including the effective use of family group conferences. Current development work includes a sophisticated exploitation mapping process. The impact of the FIT service was commented on very positively by the local judiciary.

You will be joining a highly regarded authority. This is due to the excellent results they have been getting for children in the area, which is in no small part down to manageable caseloads (18 children 2/3 cases going through court) excellent resources plus access to further education including MSC's. They are able to offer pool cars for staff, plus with a long standing and supportive management you will have the environment to succeed in your career.
