Location: London (initially home based but moving to the office in Central London)

Salary: £39,070 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are the voice of dentists and dental students in the UK. We bring dentists together, support our members through advice and education, and represent their interests. This is a challenging and dynamic period for dentistry and the BDA is recruiting a Membership Sales Manager to develop our growing team.

The Membership Sales Manager will be responsible for line managing the Membership Sales Executives. The post holder will also lead by example with personal sales and upgrade targets.

We are a small team looking to hone our Sales strategies in an ever-changing environment. Team support is important to us and we thrive best when working together.

About you

You will be a self-motivated and experienced customer service and sales professional responsible for the team's performance in relation to targeted membership and Indemnity acquisition - recruiting new members, upgrading existing members and securing Indemnity policy sales via outbound tele-sales calls.

You will be commercial in your thinking and work to maximise membership and indemnity revenue, leading by example to achieve and exceed your own personal sales and upgrade targets, as well as those of team members.

You will be fully conversant in the specifics of BDA membership and Indemnity and its value proposition in order to ensure consistency of proactive selling across the team and to secure membership and indemnity policy retention.

We are looking for a great team player who is highly flexible and adaptable with previous line management and sales experience and a proven track record of business acquisition and experience of meeting team sales targets. Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are essential.
