Responsibilities:

As the Proposal Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production of highly credible proposals that successfully convert business opportunities into profitable contracts across a wide range of services. The Proposal Manager's responsibilities specifically include;

* Responsible for the full project management of proposals and wider sales collateral. It includes development of proposal strategies, authoring bespoke written content, design and pricing, evaluation of commercial terms and conditions, and overall management of the offer.
* Development and production of high quality, winning proposals that secure profitable contracts
* Overall project management of the proposal process ensuring that proposals are developed authorised and approved in accordance with company procedures
* Preparation of cost models
* Ensuring Internal and client driven deadlines are achieved
* Proposals are correctly completed and of a consistently high standard
* Production of compelling bespoke content
* Ensure high quality standard "stock" material is available for inclusion in future tenders and proposals.Planning and coordinating the development of the complete proposal in accordance with the Clients instructions and requirements
* Production and review of high-quality proposal and sales documentation incorporating both standard content and own bespoke responses as appropriate.
*Coordinating recognised company expert's contributions at appropriate levels
About you?
​* Proven experience as a Proposal Manager
* Quality focused with previous experience of writing compelling bid submissions.
* Articulate with strong proposal writing skills and a good standard of written English, with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent design skills
* Technical knowledge security systems / CCTV or similar would be advantageous
* Strong and creative writer
* Excellent numeracy with ability to use and develop bespoke pricing models
* Ability to collect assimilate and correctly interpret complex information from different sources
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
* Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
* Knowledge of OJEU Procurement procedures and use of eTendering and eProcurement systems (desirable)
* Awareness of Standard Form Contracts including NEC3 and JCT Measured Term Agreements (Desirable)
The role
* Salary £40,000 + OTE £2000 per quarter
* Hybrid working, 50/50
* Hours 08:30 - 17:30
* 23 days holiday + bank holiday
