Production Line Support Operative (Contract)
Recruiting for Production Line Support Operators to join a long-term refurbishment project working for a leading client in the Rail Rolling Stock Industry based at their depot in Widnes.
The project is starting asap and finishing on 4th March 2024.
Working Monday to Friday, starting 07:00. Working a total of 9 days over a bi-weekly period, so that the second Friday in the period is a non-working day. Working 45 hours per week.
Looking for Production Line Support Operators who are keen to assist the team on site. Previous experience of working on a Rail or Construction site preferable.
Duties include:
General movement of restock of materials.
Assist production staff with all elements of work, including helping team members with the packaging and loading of materials from the racks
Carry out all movements of materials on site including loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. Control the storage, organisation and delivery of materials to point of use.
Delivery and collection of materials to on-site workshops.
Ensure removed material where required is marked in case of refitting in the removed location and either stored in correct location or packaged correctly for delivery to internal or external rework supplier
Where required carry out plant and equipment inspections, e.g. lifting equipment, pallet truck etc.
