The role

Finance Analyst - IT will be responsible for

• Maintaining IT rate cards, Involvement in rebuilding and maintenance of all IT rate cards
• Ensuring accurate Departmental cost and recovery submission to central finance and validation of all finance reporting.
• Accountability for ensuring all support costs are tracked and vendors managed correctly within the relevant IT function.
• Oversight and a key approver for all IT business cases including resource and contractor recruitment

The Candidate - will have had exposure to the following

• Tracking and reporting of department budget
• Ensuring each function manages and reports all costs accurately and timely
• Created and maintained recovery information presenting to central finance relevant information to ensure cross charging of items and services to the correct business profit centres.
• Project recoveries submission to central finance.
• Working with managers and business stakeholders to ensure maximum recovery from external customers
• Validation of all costs and recoveries for annual budget creation
• Authority to Recruit/Contract processes experience in order provide finance oversight and validation against Budget.
• Procedure and process review and maintenance.

• Strong Customer Service skills.
• An understanding of finance and billing. ideally within an IT Department / Environment
• Excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills; understands when to escalate issues.
