Randstad has a fantastic job opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Events Manager to work for a very well established organisation based in the East Grinstead, West Sussex area.

The main purpose of the Event Manager job is to provide Event production support through provision of third party vendors, sponsors, people assets, build and budget provision. Work with internal teams on creative, design, PR, H&S and contracts.
Experience of organising and managing Outdoor Events is essential.

Salary: £35K

Working hours: 35 hours, 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days from home (Flexibility and some weekend work required when the event is taking place)

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Develop additional revenue opportunities. To act as production expert and focal point for events and B2B capabilities.
* Take the Production lead in the delivery of projects and events. Producing and managing event work schedules and timelines to ensure that resources and assets are aligned across events and are not compromised
* Creation of documentation and on-site implementation. Work with creative teams, and clients, to create compelling briefs, assess requirements and provide marketing execution and promotion plans
* Budgeting of projects ensuring best value pricing, negotiating with suppliers and making contractor selection
* Liaise with venues / representatives and carry out site visits
* Ensure projects are delivered (development, build and running on-site) on budget and on-time to the highest possible standards
Work with the Research team to ensure that customer feedback processes are in place and ensure that post event feedback is carried out after each event

Skills & Experience Required:

* Must have Outdoor Events experience, working in a similar role and experience in a customer-centric acquisition,commercial environment
* Proven ability to create strong relationships with external business partners, sponsors and suppliers.
* Good understanding of contract management
* Ideally a Health & Safety qualification
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel extensively throughout the UK in support of Events, which will include some weekend work.
