Randstad have an opportunity available for an experienced Digital Marketing Officer to working within the internal marketing team. The digital marketing officer is responsible for creating and maintaining the content on the College website and other digital communication platforms, maximising and managing the effectiveness of digital marketing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Hold a qualification at Level 5 or above in a relevant subject - Marketing, PR, Comms etc
  • A minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a digital marketing role
  • Recent experience of designing and developing digital communications and marketing campaigns
  • A minimum of 2 years' demonstrable experience of monitoring, updating and managing social and digital communication platforms
  • Demonstrable experience of managing website content management systems
  • Demonstrable experience of working on multiple projects for a range of internal and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Implement the social media strategy to maximise identified digital platforms
  • Have editorial responsibility for all website content ensuring that it is consistent, accurate and reflects the Belfast Met brand
  • Source and create content and image libraries for the College website and social media channels
  • Plan the style of copy required and the frequency of content updates and creating schedules
  • Develop and monitor digital communication channels for example Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, snapchat and YouTube and update with content
  • Implement an online marketing strategy in association with senior management
  • Assist the College in defining innovative and effective digital strategies for online communication platforms including e-marketing
  • Liaise with students and colleagues to ensure that the College has an effective social networking presence.
  • Work with the Senior Marketing Officer in arranging online advertising as part of the integrated communication and media services
  • Carry out email marketing campaigns to support recruitment marketing and general marketing activities
