Qualified Social Worker - Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism Team - Up to 31 per hour
Apply if you extensive experience working adults with learning disabilities and autism, as well as having experience of safeguarding and conducting assessments and reviews. A Social Work Degree and a Social Work registration.
Our client is a local authority based near Richmond, looking for experienced Social Workers for their Adults with Learning Disabilities team.
This authority provides service to people with learning disabilities and their carer's, working closely with our health colleagues to promote good health, wellbeing and independence to our residents.
You will manage a long-term case load, participate in the duty rota and take a lead role in delivering robust safeguarding enquiry reports. Also, you will be supported by a strong management team to enable you to deliver a service that maximises our vulnerable resident's independence and safeguards them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care Act assessments and Support Planning
- Undertake safeguarding duties as an enquiry officer
- Participate in team meetings and other professional forums
- Use a strength-based and preventative approach to your work and Social Work Intervention.
