7.5t Home Delivery Driver (Permanent)
Kenect Recruitment are currently recruiting for 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers. This will be working on day shifts for our client based in Sheffield.
The position is a full time role working any 4 days between Monday-Saturday on a long term basis, this could also lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Start times are between 04:30am and 6:30am, with shifts normally lasting around 12 hours.
After 2/3 weeks of working at this client, the drivers work the following 3 week shift pattern:
- WEEK 1; Monday to Thursday
- WEEK 2; Wednesday to Saturday
- WEEK 3; Monday/Tuesday & Friday/Saturday
All drivers have the opportunity to become permanent staff after a 12 week probationary period.
As a 7.5t driver, the work will involve:
- Double manned multi-drop deliveries
- Deliveries to residential addresses
- Lifting/Building/Installing furniture products so handball will be involved
- Use of tail lift required
- No nights out involved
- Must have excellent customer service
