Principal Engineer Software (Contract)
Currently recruiting for a Principal Engineer Software to work for a large automotive client.
The role will involve:
Software development for Autonomous vehicle and city connected vehicle
Autonomous Vehicle test support
Connected Autonomous vehicle trend research, Conference finding and attendance
University and supplier Liaison for Research Projects
Simulation support
Working with sensors and cameras
Able to work at a couple of sites with the vehicle testing
Support and represent the group in a UK funded program
Software implementation in good quality
Functionality check in car and debugging
Report preparation for UK & Japan
Setting up and presenting to client in Japan
Weekly / Monthly reviews with Senior/ manager / Director
Qualifications/ Skills:
Degree level or higher in Engineering or similar qualification
Capability of software coding, C++/Python preferable
