Social Worker - Child Protection Team

Social Worker is required to be a part of an 'Outstanding' rated authority in North Wales working for their stable Child Protection team which has seen minimal turnover during the past several years.

The authority has been rated 'Outstanding' by the Welsh Care Council due to its care centred approach which in turn has created great results for children and families. Social workers will benefit from having an average caseload of 15 for the Senior Practitioner it would be less even during the pandemic allowing you to have an enhanced work life balance.

You will be fully equipped to work from home due to the current situation with visits being minimal and risk assessed. This is a locum role so social workers will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of £35 - £40 per hour depending on experience.

Your responsibilities would be:

• Complete Section 47
• Court Reports
• Discharging Care Orders
• Supervise Social Workers

Requirements:

• Car and Full Drivers License
• 18 Months Post Qualifying Experience
