NHS Porters (Temporary)

Acorn is proud to be working with the NHS.

We currently have up to 30 roles for Porters to work within 3 sites:

- Leicester Royal Infirmity
- Leicester General
- Glenfield Hospital.


General Duties

Your role will involve working within a team to provide a high quality Portering Service which offers a timely responsive and pro-active service for the movement of patients, materials and equipment within the site. You will also undertake various other specified support and ancillary tasks to meet the needs of the service.

Multiple Shifts Available (dependant on site):

- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 20:00 or 20:00 - 08:00
- Saturday to Sunday, 08:00 - 20:00 or 20:00 - 08:00
- 4 on 4 off (nights), 20:00-08:00
- Monday to Friday, 12:00 - 20:00
- Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 20:00.

Role Requirements:

Due to being patient facing this role requires you to be undergo a DBS check, as well as vetting as per NHS compliance.
