AMHP - Outside of IR35 - Island Location

NonStops client, based on the Channel Islands is looking for an Approved Mental Health Professional to join its Mental Health Service.

This is a excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded and stable team which is made up long-term and supportive workers, rare for any service. As an AMHP in this team you will be expected to work on AMHP rota and to carry a very low case load of service users, taking the stress off the role and allowing you to finish work on time.

This vacancy is due to a modernisation of its mental health legislation, this is a great time to join during an exciting period of change.

Responsibilities;

• Sit within one of the multidisciplinary community teams for the day to day clinical work but be available for the ASW rota for Mental Health Law Assessments
• They will also take a lead within their team for advice and oversight of the implementation and work under the new Mental Capacity Law.
• Carry a low case load
• Liaise with family, carers, health professionals and police

Requirements;

They are looking for an adventurous candidate who is happy to contribute to the out of hours service. Pay rates for this role are up to £39 an hour, leaving you with more disposable income particularly as it is outside of IR35

• Qualified Social Worker & AMHP with 2+ years experience in a community setting
• Excellent knowledge of the Mental Heal Act, Mental Capacity Act
• Currently warranted
• Enhanced DBS and 2 professional references
