My client, a law firm based in South Cheshire, with an enviable reputation who provide high quality legal services with a client focused approach are recruiting for a Senior Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE to join their firm due to their senior solicitor retiring.
The role will be to manage a case load of mixed private client matters such as wills, probate, estate administration, inheritance tax planning, powers of attorney and estate planning. You will join the private client department which consists of 2 Solicitors and 1 paralegal of which you will be supervising.
You will be responsible for your own Private Client caseload and to ensure all relevant deadlines are met and also the development of the Private Client Team. You will monitor work of secretaries and for assisting other Fee Earners (including Trainees).
Files will include :
- Wills and Estate Planning
- Administration of Deceased Estates
- Trusts
- Legal Services for the Elderly
- Revenue Law related to those areas.
