Job Title - Internal Account Manager
Location - Portishead, Bristol
Salary - £23,000 - £26,000 DOE + BONUS OF UP TO £7,000
Job Type - Permanent & Full time
We have an exciting opportunity for an account manager to join an incredible organisation. If you are passionate about sales then look no further. The purpose of this position is to contribute to the achievement & maximise the depots gross margin budget. This will be done by new customers and new product targets, by optimising sales opportunities by telephone.
Responsibilities
Sales - Work towards targeted KPIS, Source new sales opportunities, research accounts, provide office based support, close sales to achieve monthly KPIS
Account Management - Maintain regular contact with existing base, understand needs and requirements & handle client based escalations from customer service team.
General - Keep regular contact with centralised teams, ensure reporting & objective planning is comprehensive and kept up to date, ensure all other reasonable duties assigned by the internal sales manager are deemed necessary.
The desirable candidate will have
- Proven track record of exceeding targets with a telephone based environment
- Experience of using recognised sales techniques
- Customer facing background
- History of working towards targets
- Desirable - Chemical industry
