Acorn is proud to be partnering with the NHS providing excellent opportunities across the UK.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager -To provide project management to one project, relating to the re-development of our Integrated Quality and Performance Reporting IQPR to Board.

The role is primarily working from home, but some site based working may be required.

At the start and end of the contract the Project Manager will be required to attend one of our sites (Wrexham, Abergele or Bangor) to collect and return IT equipment. As this is a pan North Wales programme of work, there is the potential for some travel between sites.

5 Months, full time (37.5 hours) contract (Monday-Friday)

Band 7
Pay rate: £16.97 - £23.44 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain appropriate project documentation; i.e. PID, work plan, risk and issues log
* Arrange and provide administrative support to project meetings (weekly project team, monthly project board)
* Develop and maintain detailed specification documentation relating to the measures of the IQPR
* To provide monthly highlight reports on progress, escalate any areas of concern, risks and issues as they arise
* Liaise with Reporting and Development colleagues and associated stakeholders as needed throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

* The Integrated Quality and Performance Report (IQPR) is a key Health Board document. It is produced monthly, and presented at key meetings, including the Board. The acquisition of the data and entry onto the report requires updating and aligning with the use of the data warehouse and Power BI, while ensuring the demarcation between the roles of Informatics and Performance.

* The measures in the IQPR are based on the NHS Delivery framework, with additional HB specific measures. The current framework has 75 measures. The IQPR and other reports, such as the Accountability Report have in excess of 100 measures. Approximately 60 of these exist as data in the Data Warehouse. A number are subjective, and some are collected manually.

* The current process of producing the IQPR is labour intensive, has significant manual input, and is therefore error prone. Time for in-depth analysis is also reduced. Crucially it does not enable ward to board measurement, or link to the real-time views that exist for some measures.

* The purpose of this project is to streamline reporting processes and ensure consistency between board level and local operational reporting (ward to board).

We are looking for immediate start on this role, so if you have worked in similar position previously and available straight away please submit your CV and a member of our Public Sector team will contact you to discuss in more detail.
