Legal Cashier (Permanent)

A leading law firm in the St Helens area are recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join their team. With a modern approach, this firm are legal experts across a diverse range of law areas and pride themselves on providing an outstanding service to their clients.

Working for a firm that are dedicated to client care, you will be part of a great culture and an experienced team, reporting into the Head of Accounts. Ensuring full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules, your main job role will be to undertake a range of accounts duties associated with each area of law this firm covers, to include the following:

• Processing invoices daily
• Daily & monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparing online electronic bank transfers - CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment
• Office disbursement & invoice payments
• Maintaining client ledgers
• Other ad-hoc accounts tasks as necessary

As the successful Legal Cashier you will ideally have at least 18 months experience in a Legal Cashier role alongside possessing strong numeracy skills & attention to detail. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues as well as external clients, providing an exceptional service.
