My client has 2 openings for Family Paralegals in Liverpool and on the Wirral. The roles are to support the family team and manage a caseload of family files with minimal supervision. You will have a minimum of 12 months previous experience in a family paralegal role or for LPC graduates, completion of the Family elective is essential.
The ideal Family Paralegal will be:
- Well organised
- Flexible
- Work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Have a keen eye for detail and be numerate
- have a good telephone manner
The role:
- Opening family law files
- Communicating with third parties including courts, experts and agencies
- Updating clients by telephone and email on case progress
- Preparing court bundles and documents for hearings
- Experience in using case management systems
- Legal Aid forms
