Qualified Social Worker - Child Exploitation Team £35ph (Contract)

Are you an experienced Qualified Social Worker looking for a new opportunity within a Child Exploitation team?

We are currently working closely with a Greater Manchester local authority, who require a Social Worker within their Child Exploitation team.

The team are looking to recruit a motivated individual with a diverse range of skills who is able to demonstrate a flexible approach and clear understanding of child exploitation and has a passion for working with adolescents.

This team allows you to focus all your time on the children in your caseload and their needs, as you are not required to complete statutory functions i.e. assessments, CP plans or S47 enquiries etc. Your role is purely to build trusting, meaningful relationships with the young person, to bring positive change to their lives.

The local authority prides itself in their strong supportive team, with great progression opportunities. You will benefit from a competitive hourly rate of £35ph.

You will be

• SWE Registered
• Full UK drivers license
• DBS check
• Minimum of 3 years post qualified experience within Children's services
