Legal Cashier (Permanent)
A leading firm in the Manchester area are recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join their team. With a modern approach, this firm are legal experts within their area of law and pride themselves on providing an outstanding service to their clients.
Working for a firm that are dedicated to client care, you will be part of a busy accounts department and will report into the Financial Controller. Ensuring full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules, your main job role will be to undertake all duties associated with the completion of property transactions to include the following:
- Daily & monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparing and authorising online electronic bank transfers - CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment
- Office disbursement & invoice payments
- Maintaining client ledgers
- All month end & year end procedures
- Complete and submit VAT returns
- Processing Payroll, PAYE and Pensions information
- Other ad-hoc accounts tasks as necessary
As the successful Legal Cashier you will ideally have at least 2 years experience in a Legal Cashier role alongside possessing strong numeracy skills & attention to detail. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues as well as external clients, providing an exceptional service.
