My client is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team based in the UK on a 12 month contract position. As a Senior Project Manager with this company you will have the option to extend your contract, giving you the chance to take on more responsibilities and even the opportunity to increase your rate. This opportunity also provides remote working giving the potential candidate less travel time and more time to spend with family and friends or on other interests, not to mention the money you will save on travel!

As a Senior Project Manager your responsibilities will include managing one or more high-level, complex projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements. The projects you will be dealing with may be strategic in nature. Your responsibilities may include resource allocation and all phases of development life cycle (i.e. feasibility study, requirements, analysis, ROI, business plan, design, testing, and implementation planning).

As a Senior Project Manager you will also:

  • Regularly interact with management;
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of project team members;
  • May be responsible for cross-functional teams;
  • Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are documented;
  • May obtain and manage external resources required for project completion.

To be considered for this position the successful candidate will possess the following requirements:

  • Expertise in running medium to large scale projects,
  • Excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures,
  • Experience with project management and analyst methodologies (e.g. Agile) and best practices,
  • Strong analytic skills, business process development best practices, change management,
  • Strong MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills,
  • Understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration,
  • And excellent communication skills to work with cross-program resources.
