The Role:

Blue Butterfly Montessori first opened their doors in the heart of Pinner in 2012. We have recently opened a new branch located in Stanmore as of January 2021 and are currently recruiting for both!

We are looking for outstanding Room Managers to maintain and uphold our outstanding rating, where we proudly hold a high calibre of staff, in order to provide the highest quality of care for the children and their families we work in close partnership with.

We are currently looking to fill the role in both our Pinner and Stanmore branches; if you are a passionate and strong Room Manager with a dynamic leadership style who is engaging yet fun and up for a challenge, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Developing staff practise whilst ensuring staff development.
  • Passion to deliver high quality exciting learning opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver the highest care and education standards.
  • To lead by example and drive the culture of Safeguarding Children and promoting professional staff behaviour.
  • In collaboration with management contribute to succession planning, identification and delivery of relevant training.
  • Working as part of a larger team on a day to day tasks are completed in line with the nursery demands.
  • Continuation of personal professional development ensuring your knowledge and skills are up to date, full, and relevant to the role of leading teams as a Room Manager.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Hold relevant childcare qualifications.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation.
  • Previous experience of caring for children under 5.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • A team player and leader.
  • Approachable.
  • Good communication skills.
