Job Title: Nursery Bank Staff (Level 2 and 3)

Location: Stanmore, London

Salary: Up to £10.50 per hour (Experience Dependent)

Job type: Permanent, Full time.

The Role:

Blue Butterfly Montessori first opened their doors in the heart of Pinner in 2012. We have recently opened a new branch located in Stanmore as of January 2021 and are currently recruiting for both!

We are looking for outstanding Nursery Bank Staff to maintain and uphold our outstanding rating, where we proudly hold a high calibre of staff, in order to provide the highest quality of care for the children and their families we work in close partnership with.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Cover staff holidays, weekly days off, sickness and other absence as required.
• Support the Room management team with the day-to-day routine of the room.
• Appropriate supervision of children throughout the day.
• Delivery of the EYFS framework.
• Observing children during activities and carrying out other basic daily paperwork.
• Use initiative and be proactive.
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding/child protection.
• Approachable and caring with a passion for working with children.
• Experience within a private day care setting with children aged 0-5 years.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Hold relevant childcare qualifications (Level 2 and 3).
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation.
• Previous experience of caring for children under 5.
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• A team player and leader.
• Good communication skills.
• Passion to deliver high quality exciting learning opportunities.
