We look after the personal and business insurance needs of a variety of clients throughout the North West of England from our offices in Lancaster and Knott End-on-Sea. We have just celebrated our 25 year anniversary and we continue to grow through our dedication to our customers and the professional and knowledgeable service we provide.

About yourself;

We are Insurance Brokers looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to service exiting clients and develop new relationships with customers for all classes of Commercial Insurance throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.

You will be proactive with strong communication skills and have a desire to develop your professional career within a growing team.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years sales experience and be already working in a client facing position. Applications from candidates who are not yet in this role such as Account Handlers who are looking to move to a full sales role will be considered.

THE ROLE. WE WILL NEED YOU TO:

  • Be responsible for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.
  • Use your relationship skills, rapport, and product knowledge to grow a book of commercial insurance clients and generate new clients by creating a pipeline of prospects.
  • Use your cross-selling skills to maximise the share of wallet from your clients.
  • Demonstrate a high level of client retention.
  • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients, insurers and colleagues.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED

  • Ideally but not essential a minimum of 2 years commercial lines insurance experience. Applicants with non-insurance sales experience will be considered.
  • Ideally a good working knowledge of most classes of commercial lines insurance including Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Fleet, Financial Lines and Package.
  • Excellent organisation skills, high attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, written and oral, willing to challenge and desire to build and maintain client and insurer relationships.
  • Experience of working to high standards of regulatory compliance.
  • A good standard of education with minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
