To project manage a range of Marketing projects and campaign activities for Degrees Work in support of our overall marketing strategy and growth plans across key strategic business areas including:

  • Apprenticeships.
  • Police Education.
  • New Business.
  • Distance Learning.
  • CPD.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to scope and implement a range of Marketing projects to meet our business objectives. All projects will effectively target our various and diverse Degrees at Work audiences, ultimately contributing to the achievement of Corporate Plan growth targets (headcount and revenue). 
  • To provide a high quality level of service including, planning, deployment, monitoring, analytics, evaluation and timely reporting of project or campaign related activities. 
  • To work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and the wider Degrees at Work Marketing team to ensure that all activities are complementary and in synergy, including within the Degrees at Work portfolio and wider stakeholder groups.
  • To be responsible and accountable for financial and lead based targets for each engagement, in conjunction with our Marketing Manager. 
  • To produce high quality on-brand marketing assets to support projects in line with our corporate tone of voice and design guidelines, linking in with marketing colleagues and the design team as appropriate.
  • To manage third-party suppliers and agencies to provide a service that delivers in line with agreed objectives, on time and on budget providing seamless integration with our in-house activities.
  • Management of the Degrees at Work events calendar and representation. Where appropriate representing Degrees at Work at physical and virtual events and with corporate clients. 
  • To keep up-to-date on latest industry trends, best practices relating to B2B and B2C Marketing.
  • To work closely with colleagues to ensure all activities are underpinned by accurate and up to date CRM data for complete visibility and analysis. 
  • To be responsible for Marketing finance and general administration, as connected to your area of responsibility. Ensuring that the budget spreadsheet is up to date and invoices are processed in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree and appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role.
  • Part qualified in a relevant professional qualification appropriate to the specific role being appointed to and appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing projects in a marketing environment.
  • Experience of day to day running of marketing campaigns. 
  • Experience of using social media to drive customer acquisition.
  • Handling multiple projects and prioritising.
  • Web content management experience.
  • Experience of working with external agencies.
