Acorn is proud to be working in Partnership with our FMCG client based in Flint.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores/Dispatch Manager for a 4 on 4 off shift, 7am - 7pm.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for both Dispatch and Stores department, including the control and costs of Labour, Transport and MHE
* Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external personnel, including supply chain and 3PL
Activities:
* Attend production plan meetings and ensure production requirements across both departments are met
* Ensure all staff are fully trained and competent with process and procedures
* Ensure teams meet KPIs set
* Promote a positive working environment
* Identify/develop talent within the departments
Result Areas:
* SLAs are met at 100%
* Development of teams in both departments
Requirements:
* Min 3 yr experience within a similar role within a FMCG environment (ideally Food)
* Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Flexible approach to working hours would be an advantage due to nature of FMCG industry
