Tendercare Nurseries, one of the leading suppliers of specimen plants in the UK for over 30 years, are searching for a Landscape Team Leader who can exhibit strong leadership skills, has previous experience within the industry including the use of heavy machinery and equipment and a good knowledge and passion for horticulture and the environment.
The Role:
Based on our beautiful site in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, your day-to-day role will vary depending on the time of year, but as a Landscape Team Leader you will be responsible for the installation of Tendercare's landscaping projects for our prestigious private clients.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Your role will include carrying out site specific risk assessments, managing all employees and subcontractors for each project and ensuring the health and safety of employees and members of the public for each project.
About you:
The right candidate will be Professional and presentable, with positive client liaison skills, you will also need good organisational and communication skills.
Required Skills/Qualifications (Essential):
- Physically fit, strong and enjoy outdoor working in all weather conditions.
- RHS Level 2 or equivalent Horticultural qualification or agreement to start an online course.
- Landscape experience (soft and/or hard).
- Time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Clean driving licence
Required Skills/Qualifications (Desirable):
- PA1 + PA6 spraying licence
- Rough Terrain forklift licence
- Forward tipping dumper licence
- Trailer towing on Driving Licence
- Mini digger licence.
- First Aid certificate
