Job Title: Project Support Officer (2 x posts)

Location: Walsall

Salary: £21269 - £24,920 per annum (pro rata to hours: £17,245.14- £20,205.41 per annum)

Job Type: Part Time (30 hours per week), Fixed term contracts (These are Fixed-Term positions until June 2023)

The Early Help Service is recruiting for 2 x Project Support Officers to provide support to a diverse range of projects within Children Service, Early Help Service.

The successful candidate will work closely with Early Help and Locality, Parenting and Project managers to provide; efficient support that maximises organisational technology in all its forms, providing a quality support service to numerous and various Early Help Projects including; Supporting Families, Parenting Programmes, Multi Agency Partnership Projects, Self Help Websites and other various projects the service is involved in.

Early Help can offer children, young people and their families the support needed to reach their full potential, it can improve the quality of a child's home and family life, enable them to perform better at school and support their mental health" (EIF 2018).

About you:

The successful candidate will need:

  • Good knowledge of Early Help / Early Intervention helping services
  • Excellent organisational and customer care skills able to manage competing demands and workloads
  • A broad range of IT skills; including Microsoft Teams and its applications, data inputting and website skills
  • Experience of supporting small or large scale projects, events and training
  • Experience of designing / co-designing; tracking, monitoring, reporting and evaluation systems.
