- Social Work England Registration
- Social Work Qualification
- ASYE Completion
- Extensive Social Work experience within Adults services
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism
This is an excellent opportunity to work with an Learning Disabilities team based near Cheshire as a Qualified Social Worker.
They operate a hybrid worker style which offers a flexible and mobile approach to how we work with a combination of office-based working and working flexibly from other locations. You will be expected to manage their own time and be disciplined in their workload management.
This authority work with a high number of people with varied needs ranging from complex health to forensic needs, who require skilled interventions. The team is a specialist service working alongside and in partnership with the NHS trust.
They are looking for candidates who demonstrate these skills and will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and a sound knowledge of current legislation, policy and procedures within adult services. They will need to be able to manage complex cases and undertake high quality assessments including Mental Capacity Act assessments, following Best Interest procedures as appropriate.
