Technical Consultant - Richmond

£40,000

An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Consultant to join a software house based in Richmond. You will be responsible for learning the product, technical work and becoming the key point of contact for technical queries on a wide range of project types, including development and implementation of software.

As this is a project based role, expect lots of variety in tasks that you are set. The occasional travel to client site may be required but will not make up a huge deal of your role. The key focus here is for you to be the technical point of call. You must be comfortable with reading and talking through code (C#, SQL) and be able to confidentially articulate this to clients.

Responsibilities

- Develop custom solutions to support key products

- Provide technical support to ensure software products perform effectively

- Estimate and help produce quotes for new business

- Resolve issues with software, escalating where necessary

- Supporting the client and resolving any technical issues that arise

- Produce reports on agreed activity
