Aircraft Type B2 Tutor

Exciting new Permanent opportunity for an Aircraft Type B2 Tutor based in Cambridge.

Following a recent expansion, our client is a EASA 147 approved training organisation with a growing global database of both civil and Military customers, currently looking to expand their team in Cambridge with an experienced Aircraft Type B2 Tutor Specialising in delivering technical, regulatory and bespoke training courses as well as 'soft skill' and education programmes.

We are looking for an Aircraft Type B2 Tutor to support its growing business opportunities across Aircraft Type and technical training design and delivery. Operating at the forefront of this exciting growing industry the successful candidate will have an interest and a passion for aviation. This exciting role would suit a person that already has demonstrable experience in EASA regulations and Aircraft Maintenance and suitable experience in training delivery to both initial and experienced delegates.

Skills:

  • Current teacher /Training Qualification (not essential)
  • Background of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Maintenance or management in part or 147
  • Typically, but not limited to designing and delivering Aircraft Type Training

The core function of the role is to deliver training whilst based at its facilities in Cambridge to various customers including apprentices, new starters, experienced staff including existing staff from support areas of both internal and external customers. Occasional travel within the UK and abroad may be required when necessary.

As a subject matter expert for the appropriate trade disciplines, ranging from complex aircraft systems such as propulsion, avionic, airframe and electrical to basic trade engineering fundamentals the successful applicant will have a desire to further their own knowledge and expertise in this specialist field whilst maintaining their knowledge and understanding of the relevant regulations and aircraft types and systems. With a personal desire for continuous improvement, appropriate quality standards and air safety the successful person would bring a passion and understanding of aviation safety.
