Commercial Account Handler (Permanent)

Commercial Account Handler, London. Up to £30,000 plus benefits.

Excellent opportunity for someone to further develop their broking career within an insurance brokerage that are looking to expand.
This role sits within the New Business Team, the role involves acquiring new business through leads provided, broking and negotiating cover within the Lloyds and London Insurance Market and then managing the clients account until the renewal process begins.

Duties:
Contact potential customers who have expressed an interest in being contacted about their commercial insurance needs.
Gathering relevant information from the customer to understand their insurance needs.
Present this information to the market to get the best possible cover and price for the customer.
Presenting back to the customer and securing the business.
You will be required to achieve personal monthly and yearly new business targets as well as assisting the new business team and the company on the whole to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
Once a client is on board you will then be responsible for account managing them through to the renewal process.
Dealing with client queries, midterm adjustments and completing insurance documents and certificates.

You must have some previous experience in a commercial broking/account handling role.
Must be driven, enthusiastic, customer focused, highly professional and adaptable.
Strong communicator who is well organised and capable of producing accurate work.
Desire to undertake insurance examinations.
