Junior HNW Underwriter (Permanent)

Junior High Net Worth Underwriter, London. £Competitive plus excellent benefits and development opportunities.

I am working with a global insurer who provide themselves on the service and cover they provide their customers.
They are currently looking for individuals who either have a High Net Worth Underwriting background or have experience of underwriting Property/Household Risks.

You will be responsible for identifying and growing new business opportunities from both new and existing broker relationships.
Dealing predominantly with high net worth household but also involved in other associated risks.
Play a key role in developing existing business through cross and up selling.
Handle renewals and mid-term adjustments.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a panel of brokers.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell to further grow the portfolio.

To apply I am looking for;
Previous Underwriting experience required. High Net Worth experience a distinct advantage.
Excellent telephone manner and inter-personal skills.
Strong communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
Team player and able to demonstrate a high work ethic.
Professional, driven and customer focused.
Ideally CII qualified or willing to study towards (study support will be provided).
