Semi Senior - Growing Accountancy Practice with a Difference (Permanent)

An growing independent accountancy practice with a difference requires an experienced Semi Senior. The role has been newly created due to growth and you will support an ACCA Qualified Senior to produce client accounts, statutory returns and corporation tax.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Management of an SME client base
• Accounts production from start to finish
• Production of monthly management packs, management accounts, P&L, accruals and prepayments and balance sheet
• Balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation
• Production of margin reports, analysis of customer spend and costs
• Production of weekly and monthly shareholder reports
• Monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting
• Production of statutory accounts
• Production of corporation tax returns

Experience & Skills Required:

• Part Qualified or Qualified ACCA Semi Senior
• Experience gained in similar role in the accountancy profession
• Pro-active approach and driven to meet client needs
• Excellent communication to conduct client meetings
• Highly numerate and literate
