HWRC Site Manager (Permanent)

Are you an experienced Logistics, Operations or Landfill Site Manager looking to take on a new challenge? If so Viridor are recruiting and are looking for individuals just like you!

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Site Manager for our team in Yeovil, working 40 hours a week.

In return for your hard work as our Site Manager, we can offer a salary of £15,849 - £24,000 per annum plus excellent benefits, including:

The ideal Site Manager:

• Previous experience within the waste industry and experience of managing a team.
• Experience of providing excellent customer service and experience of dealing with customer complaints
• Full driving licence.
• First aid in the workplace
• Cotc in waste transfer or CMS unit completion.

Site Manager Responsibilities include:

• Managing the day to day running of a busy household waste recycling centre, to ensure that it remains compliant to regulations and meets set contract targets.
• Assist site users in the disposal and segregation of waste and recyclable material.
• Delegate tasks to team members and ensure work is undertaken to the required standard.
• Proactively address complaints from site users and resolve if possible
• Achieve and maintain a realistic recycling target for the site.
• Report all accidents and incidents and assist in the investigation to identify root cause.
