Job title: Collections Officer/Customer Service

Job Salary: £18k-£19.5k basic

Job Location: Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester

Working hours - Monday - Thursday shifts between 9am-6:30pm and Fri between 9am-6pm

No weekend work!

The Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for work for a company who really value their staff. Working as part of the collections team you will provide an efficient collections service in line with FCA guidelines on both B2B & B2C accounts. Through effective communication you will minimise bad debt levels and maintain existing payment plans.

• To take and make calls to contribute to the achievement of the departments objectives in terms of cash collections on a team and individual basis
• Manage own day to day workload portfolio to achieve maximum results
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Take ownership of customer accounts, ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded
• Work as a team and help support other team members
• Identify and deal with vulnerable customers
• Update customer's accounts

Experience required

• Call Centre Customer service experience
• Previous collections experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong listening skills
• Problem solving skills
• Target driven

Salary and benefits

• £16k-£18k basic (depending on exp)
