We are currently looking for a number of SEN Support Staff to join this good/outstanding SEN School in Waltham Forest for Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
This SEN School are looking for staff to join both the primary and secondary departments from January. Class sizes vary depending on the needs of the class and you would be expected to undertake personal care, provide emotional and social support and encourage students to learn independently.
SEN Support Staff - Requirements
- Experience in working with children with similar needs
- UK classroom experience
- Experience in using communication aids (PECs/Makaton)
- Any experience in manual handling, hoist training desirable
- Able to maintain a safe and inclusive environment around the school
