Property Account Handler (Permanent)

Property Account Handler, Sussex. £Competitive plus excellent benefits and discretionary Bonus.

I am working with a Global Insurance practice who are looking for an Account Handler to join their Property Team.

You will be responsible for servicing accounts for their Property clients within the renewals life cycle process, including but not limited to renewal administration, preparation of presentations to insurers, underwriting premiums, processing adjustments and producing documentation.
You will ideally have experience of working as an Account Handler and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of excellent customer service, skills of negotiation, broking and market awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare documentation for customers in relation to their insurance requirements in partnership with account managers.
Prepare documentation for existing customers in relation to renewals and mid-term adjustments
Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashion
Deal with queries in relation to customer policies
Confirm cover, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required
Prepare debit notes and policy summaries
Deal with account queries and credit control matters highlighting any concerns to account managers in a timely manner

To apply;
Ideally you will have experience of dealing with commercial property/property owners insurance.
Alternatively they will consider individuals with a household insurance background.
Good general knowledge of insurance services, classes of insurance including underlying legal principles and practices relating to risk.
Worked to targets within a regulated environment.
Customer focused and driven.
Strong communication skills and highly organised.
Hold, working towards or willingness to study CII qualifications
