Nonstop' s client, a Local Authority based in a beautiful area in the South East of England not far from the coast, is looking for a Qualified Social Worker for its Looked After Children Team. They are looking to interview and appoint as soon as possible, meaning you can start a new role immediately.

Your Role:

This is an ongoing contract offering up to £35/hr for a period of 6 months, but it can get extended, meaning you will be in a stable role, while earning very well. As part of the Looked After Children Team, you will work c;losely with the Family Support and Protection Team and mainly cover court work, care proceedings, Section 7's, Section 17's, Section 37's, as well as LAC tasks which will open up a number of opportunities if you're interested in a pure LAC role or a family support & protection role.

There will be Laptop and phone provided to all social workers to allow team members the ability to work where ever they are as well as the option to hot-desk to other offices within the area. The management team also invest in their locum staff meaning all locum team will have plenty of support and training, if needed, to carry out their role to the best of their abilities

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant Degree
• Post qualification in the UK experience
• HCPC registration
• Full Clean driving license

Those with extensive experience may also be considered for a more senior role, meaning instant progression and a higher income.
