Early Years Assistant - Winchester (Temporary)

About the role

You will work in a variety of early years settings across Winchester and Eastleigh. We can offer flexible working hours to suit your requirements.

Bookings can range from as little as 2 hour shifts, up to 10 hour shifts. Nurseries are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 6.30pm but at the point of registering with our dedicated Early Years Consultant we will establish your availability for work and will always do our best to match our requirements to suit your needs.

You will assist with the day to day care of the children in the setting, following their routines and supporting the staff in the settings. You will adhere to their policies and procedures and offer help where you can.

Applicants will ideally have a qualification in Early Years or Childcare, however this is not essential as long as you are passionate about working with children and have previous experience in this area. We will need to take up a minimum of three professional references, including your most recent employer. You will also be required to complete a DBS application form (unless you already have a current DBS registered with the Update Service).
